Tom Trevor was born in New York City. He graduated from Dowling College in Oakdale L.I., with a degree in aeronautics. After graduating he studied art at the Art Student League of New York from 1982-1989. His teachers included, Gustav Rehberger, Oldrich Teply, and Terence Coyle. In 1989 he moved to a town near Burlington Vermont. Several years later, he started studying with Karen Winslow. He has taken several art workshops with prominent artists. Tom later moved to Stowe Vermont. He now lives with in Sarasota Florida.
